Code of Conduct

Devworld Conferences, where the AI Devworld Conference is part of, is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, welcoming, and harassment-free environment for all participants—regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, age, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. This Code of Conduct outlines expected behavior and consequences for unacceptable conduct at all of our events.

This Code of Conduct applies to all attendees, speakers, sponsors, volunteers, staff, and third parties who interact with Devworld Conferences—whether onsite at our physical venues, during virtual events, or through any official online or community channels, including social media, workshops, and social gatherings.

Be respectful and considerate in speech and actions.

Listen with empathy and engage with openness to different experiences and perspectives.

Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behavior and speech.

Respect personal boundaries and space—physical, emotional, and digital.

Support fellow attendees—look out for each other and speak up when something isn’t right.

Unacceptable behavior includes, but is not limited to:

Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination in any form.

Offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, appearance, race, ethnicity, religion, or technology choices.

Sexual images in public spaces, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.

Deliberate intimidation, stalking, sustained disruption of talks or events, or inappropriate photography or recording.

Sponsors are also subject to this Code of Conduct. They must not use sexualized images, activities, or materials. Booth staff—including volunteers—should avoid sexualized clothing, uniforms, or costumes, and must not create a sexualized environment.

Devworld Conferences maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward racism. We affirm the importance of mutual respect and equal treatment for all participants, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, age, or any other protected attribute. Racism in any form—verbal, visual, behavioral—will result in immediate expulsion without refund.

If someone asks you to stop unacceptable behavior, comply immediately.

The organizers may take any action deemed appropriate, including verbal warnings, expulsion without refund, and involvement of local authorities if necessary.

Organizers may address behavior that disrupts the event or makes the environment feel hostile, even if not specifically listed in this document.

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of staff immediately. Staff can be identified by branded clothing or badges and have received Code of Conduct training.

Anonymous reports are possible. If you'd prefer to report anonymously, please use a private number or hide your caller ID. We are working on offering an anonymous reporting form soon.

We will respond promptly and with discretion to all reports. All reports are treated confidentially. We will:

Investigate incidents with care and professionalism

Inform you of the resolution, unless you report anonymously

Provide a safe, non-retaliatory space for reporting
